The Ministry of Energy proposed measures to support the tourism industry in areas affected by the release of fuel oil

The Ministry of Economic Development of Russia, in order to support legal entities and individual entrepreneurs of Anapa and Temryuksky district of Krasnodar Krai working in the field of tourism, proposes to postpone the payment of insurance premiums to the end of the year. This was announced on February 28 by Dmitry Vakhrukov, Deputy Minister of Economic Development of Russia, at a Government commission.

"Despite the fact that Rospotrebnadzor has not yet made a final decision on the summer holiday season in the affected area, the Ministry of Economic Development proposes to postpone the payment of insurance premiums from 1-3 quarters of 2025 to the end of 2025. We propose to make a decision on extending the postponement until 2026 in September based on the results of an analysis of the work of industry enterprises in the summer holiday season," said Dmitry Vakhrukov, Deputy Minister of Economic Development of Russia.

At the initiative of the Ministry of Economic Development, the SME Corporation launched a hotline to support organizations and individual entrepreneurs registered in Anapa or Temryuk district of the Krasnodar Territory and affected by an emergency. Entrepreneurs can receive information on special support measures and legal issues, including postponement of bank payments.

The Ministry, together with the administration of the Krasnodar Territory, also proposes to postpone the payment of property taxes.

Regarding large-scale tourism investment projects, the issue of exemption from liability measures for non-fulfillment of the project implementation schedule is being considered.

Earlier, on February 4, repeated emissions of fuel oil were recorded on 12 sections of beaches in Anapa. Oil products were found on the territory of Uspensky, Belorechensky, Mostovsky, Labinsky, Timashevsky, Pavlovsky, Absheron, Abinsky, Starominsky, Slavyansky, Tikhoretsky districts and Krasnodar.
