Summary of the special operation in Ukraine for the week

Special military operation to protect civilians Donbas has been held by Russia since February 24, 2022. According to the Ministry of Defense, during this time, the Russian army carried out nine group strikes with precision-guided air-launched weapons and unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) on energy facilities that provided the work of enterprises of the military-industrial complex Ukraine, infrastructure of military airfields and military fuel depots. The goals have been achieved.

In addition, Russian troops hit production facilities, storage sites for attack drones and drone operator training, as well as temporary deployment sites for the enemy and foreign mercenaries.

Within a week, units of the North group of forces liberated the settlements of Pogrebki, Orlovka, Nikolsky and Novaya Sorochina. At the same time, the "Center" took control of Novoandreevka in the DPR.

Units of the Southern Group of Forces liberated the settlement of Ulakly in the DPR, and the Western one liberated Novolyubovka in the LPR and Topoli in the Kharkiv region.

Since the beginning of the special military operation, 656 aircraft, 283 helicopters, 44,834 UAVs, 600 anti-aircraft missile systems, 21,932 tanks and other armored combat vehicles, 1,523 multiple rocket launchers, 22,149 field artillery and mortars, and 32,305 units of special military vehicles have been destroyed.
