Weather forecasters warned Krasnoyarsk residents about 40-degree frosts

Residents of the Krasnoyarsk Territory were warned about a severe drop in temperature. On the night of March 1, in the central regions of the region, the air temperature will drop to -38 degrees.

As told KrasnoyarskMedia News Agency heavy snow is expected in the mountains of the southern regions of the Central Siberian Federal State Budgetary Institution for Hydrometeorology and Environmental Monitoring. There is ice on the roads in the central and southern regions.

As for the capital of the region, the temperature in Krasnoyarsk will drop to -28 degrees at night. It will warm up to -11 degrees during the day.

Earlier, forecasters said that this year's spring will be extremely changeable. The first half of the month is forecast to be cold and frosty, while the second half is abnormally warm. Sudden temperature changes will lead to atmospheric pressure surges, which will be acutely felt by weather-dependent people.
