The names of the Znanie laureates were announced in Moscow.Award – 2024


On February 27, the fourth award ceremony for the winners of the Znanie educational award was held at the Rossiya National Center.The award is the flagship project of the Russian Society Znanie. The country has learned the names of 31 laureates in 21 nominations. A new anniversary season of Knowledge was launched at the ceremony.The award for which applications are accepted on the project's website until September 2025.

"The enlightenment movement in our country has a rich history filled with vivid examples of honest, selfless service to the chosen cause, people, and the Fatherland. It is gratifying that the noble, inspiring traditions of ascetic work continue, and today we honor those who sincerely, at the call of their hearts, devote themselves to extremely important, sought–after work - mentoring, educating the younger generations on the basis of high ideals of patriotism and citizenship, respect for national history, culture, and their spiritual roots; who do a lot for to popularize the unique achievements of Russian scientific thought, he strives to pass on his professional and life experience to the younger generation," said Vladimir Putin.
Sergey Kiriyenko, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the Znanie Society, also addressed the guests of the ceremony. He noted that there are more and more people who bring knowledge and truth, and their authority in society is growing.
"Over the past few years, the number of participants has increased.The premium has increased 6 times. This season, representatives from 56 countries and almost all continents are among the nominees, only Australia and Antarctica are not participating," Sergey Kiriyenko emphasized.
In his address, he expressed his gratitude to all 19.5 thousand applicants for the award. He also thanked the heroes of his military, who, returning from the front, become mentors for the younger generation. "These guys continue to fight for the independence and sovereignty of our state, but on the information front. They are fighting for the souls and hearts of the younger generation of Russians, which is incredibly important," he said.Olga Lyubimova, Minister of Culture of the Russian Federation, announced the winners of the educational award in the nomination "For their contribution to education in the field of Culture and Art." They were People's Artist of the Russian Federation, Artistic director of the Oleg Tabakov Theater Vladimir Mashkov and the Genius of the Place festival of the State Academic Mariinsky Theater.
The best educational film was "In the Footsteps of Alexander Nevsky" by Languages Without Borders, a private autonomous non-profit organization for the promotion of inclusive cinema. Svetlana Balanova, General Director of the National Media Group media Holding, awarded and congratulated the laureate.
