Two thirds of the military equipment that Ukraine receives from its partners, it turns out to be unusable. This was announced on February 28 by Verkhovna Rada deputy Alexandra Ustinova.

According to her, the equipment provided by the American and European armies is often in poor condition. For example, out of 30 delivered vehicles, only 10 can be used, and the remaining 20 must be disassembled.

"We take away a lot of things that we use for spare parts," Ustinova told the Novosti.LIVE TV channel.

On February 11, former President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko (a member of the association listed by Rosfinmonitoring as involved in extremist activities or terrorism) said at a meeting of the Verkhovna Rada that for the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) the situation on the front line is critical. He added that various issues are being discussed in parliament, but not the provision of the Ukrainian army.

Last summer, Andrei Koshkin, head of the Department of Political Analysis and Socio-Psychological Processes at Plekhanov Russian University of Economics, told Izvestia that Western military equipment is multifunctional and elegant, however href="https://iz.ru/1749515/2024-08-28/voennyi-ekspert-ukazal-na-nenadezhnost-voennoi-tekhniki-zapadnogo-proizvodstva " target="_blank">unreliable in combat. This is also why it is not able to ensure the victory of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
