Russian Security Council Secretary Sergei Shoigu arrived in Beijing to meet with Chinese President Xi Jinping and Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi, the press service of the Russian Security Council reported on February 28.

"Secretary of the Russian Security Council Sergei Shoigu arrived in Beijing to meet with the top leadership of China. During the one—day visit, a meeting is planned with Chinese President Xi Jinping and a member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee, head of the Office of the CPC Central Committee for Foreign Affairs, Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi," the statement said.
