Calculations of the Uragan MLRS disrupted the delivery of AFU reserves in the Kursk border region

Calculations of 220-millimeter multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS) "Hurricane" of the Airborne artillery brigade destroyed military equipment with manpower and disrupted the delivery of reserves of the Armed Forces Ukraine (APU) to the front line in the border area of the Kursk region. This was announced on February 28 by the Russian Defense Ministry.

It is clarified that during aerial reconnaissance, the calculation of the unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) complex revealed the movement of Ukrainian equipment with personnel towards the line of combat contact to organize a counterattack on the settlement from which they were knocked out by paratroopers of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, and transmitted the information to the artillery command post.

Then the Airborne artillery brigade, having received the coordinates of the targets from the unmanned aircraft and reconnaissance units, struck at the identified targets. At the same time, the adjustment of artillery fire and the recording of the destruction of targets were carried out using UAV calculations. The drones transmitted the results of the fire damage to the artillery command post in real time.

"Our guys occupied the village at night, the enemy attempted to dislodge our personnel from the village in the morning. We, in turn, did not allow them to do this, and with pinpoint strikes from our artillery from the second shot we hit the target. The enemy tried to drive up and pick up their own and bring help, but due to the fact that our artillery was working, we simply did not allow it. Everyone was covered, and who was there, and who was going to come up," said the commander of the rocket battalion of the Airborne artillery unit with the call sign Radiy.

Having inflicted damage to enemy armored vehicles and manpower with the help of high-explosive fragmentation ammunition, the Uragan MLRS crews changed firing positions to exclude retaliatory fire from the enemy.

"We hit the landings and armored vehicles. And excellent results. The enemy has been defeated," said the gunner of the Hurricane MLRS with the call sign Red.
