Ukraine and The United States has reached an agreement on a joint mining deal, which must be signed by the Ukrainian president Vladimir Zelensky and the American leader Donald Trump. This was announced on February 27 by US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent in an interview with Fox News.

Bessent noted that the contract contains issues related to the extraction and transportation of rare earth metals, oil and gas.
