Presentation of the educational award "Knowledge.The award" was held on February 27 at Moscow. Footage from the award ceremony appeared at the disposal of Izvestia.

This was the fourth presentation in a row. More than 30 creators have received awards for their projects this year. In total, more than 20 thousand applications were submitted. According to the organizers, "Knowledge.The Award", this year the presented works have become more creative and unique.

"Behind each project there is a team of sincere, caring people from various regions of our country. This includes our colleagues from new regions, who are working hard and are becoming more actively involved in our most diverse endeavors every year," said Olga Lyubimova, Minister of Culture of the Russian Federation.

She clarified that the creators of educational projects are unique people who work year after year to create new forms in order to inspire and teach.

In the nomination "Best Educational Film" this year, the film "In the Footsteps of Alexander Nevsky" won, which is the first full-length documentary project in the history of Russia shot in sign language.

"There is another important element in educational films — it is, in fact, knowledge. And therefore, of course, every film that is presented in this nomination today has all these components," said Svetlana Balanova, CEO of NMG.
