The number of injured when a car hit pedestrians in Israel has reached 14 people.

The report says that a 17-year-old girl who suffered serious head and limb injuries is in critical condition. A 60-year-old man and a 19-year-old woman also suffered head injuries, their condition is assessed as serious. All the people were taken to the Hillel Yaf hospital in Hadera.

According to the portal, the suspect turned out to be a 53-year-old Palestinian who lived illegally in Israel.

"The driver of the car that fled the scene of the accident tried to escape, drove four kilometers and was stopped by police at the entrance to the shopping complex in Gan Shmuel, where he was shot dead," the report says.
