In Moscow expects that the President of Mongolia, Uhnaagiin Khurelsukh, will take part in the celebration of the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War (WWII). This was stated to Izvestia by Russian Ambassador to Ulaanbaatar Alexei Evsikov.

"We expect to see the head of the Mongolian state on May 9, 2025 on Red Square in Moscow among the honored guests. We also hope to continue the glorious tradition of sending boxes for the Mongolian military to participate in the festive parade," the diplomat said.

He recalled that Mongolia had made a significant contribution to the defeat of German fascism. In particular, Mongolian citizens formed aid groups for the Red Army. Among them were those who voluntarily joined the ranks of the Red Army to fight the invaders.

On February 10, Russian Ambassador to China Igor Morgulov announced that Chinese President Xi Jinping accepted the invitation to the 80th anniversary of Victory.
