Vadim Tumasov, a volunteer from the Sverdlovsk region, held positions for 81 days under fire from the militants of the Armed Forces Ukraine (Ukrainian Armed Forces), reported on February 27 in the Telegram channel "Uralfo Info".
"In October 2024, as a company commander, he showed heroism in the battles in the Belogorov direction. Under enemy fire, Vadim Tumasov organized the breakthrough of the assault group and held positions for 81 days, seven of which were alone. All this time, the Ural man successfully repelled the enemy's attacks, despite his injuries," the message says.
It is noted that Tumasov is currently in the hospital, and the command has offered to award him a "Gold Star" and award him the title Hero of Russia.
