In Israel at least 10 people were injured after a car hit people standing at a bus stop on highway 65 near the village of Pardes Khan. This was reported on February 27 by the portal Ynet.

"The number of injured as a result of the ram at the Karkur intersection has increased to 10 people," the report says.

It is noted that one of the victims is in critical condition, two more are in serious condition, and the other two people are in moderate condition. The other five victims were slightly injured. All the people were taken to the Hillel Yaf hospital in Hadera.

Radio Kan adds that the car drove onto the sidewalk, hit a group of people, then drove a few more kilometers and crashed into a police car. After that, the attacker tried to escape, but was soon overtaken by law enforcement officers and eliminated. He turned out to be a 50-year-old Palestinian who was in the country illegally.

Earlier, on January 20th, three buses exploded in the vicinity of the Israeli city of Tel Aviv, there were no casualties. It is specified that in an attempt at a terrorist attack it was planned to blow up five buses at the same time.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu immediately ordered a powerful counter-terrorism operation in the West Bank of the Jordan River against terrorist centers. The National Police was ordered to strengthen preventive activities in the country's cities against possible terrorist attacks.
