In Sochi, the owner of dogs that attacked a nine-year-old child and caused him serious injuries has been charged. This was announced on February 27 by the investigative department of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Krasnodar Territory in its Telegram channel.

According to investigators, the accused admitted his guilt and explained that he had not fed the dogs for some time, which could have influenced their aggressive behavior. The attack took place in one of the residential areas of the city, when children were playing outside. As a result of the animal attack, the injured child suffered significant facial damage.

An investigation is currently underway into the case of causing serious harm to health by negligence (Part 1 of Article 118 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation). Investigators are continuing to clarify all the circumstances of the incident.

An attack by two huskies on a nine-year-old child took place in Sochi on February 26. The dogs were unattended by the owner, they were driven away from the boy by passers-by. A schoolboy with multiple lacerations to his face was taken to a hospital in Krasnodar. A criminal case has been opened into the incident.

To the victim performed an operation. The doctor sewed up one vessel with a diameter of about 0.1 mm for the boy, while he assessed the child's nose and remaining lip as almost non-viable.
