The first part of the project "Journey through Russia. Food" opens on March 1. There you will be able to taste the most favorite traditional dishes from all over the country. Natalia Virtuozova, General Director of the Rossiya National Center, told about this on February 27.

The gastronomic space will be divided into four zones: "East", "North", "West" and "South". Guests will be able to taste dishes of Russian multinational cuisine from Vladivostok to Kaliningrad, both well—known and unusual.

"89 regions will be represented, but they will be represented by federal districts. The exhibition "Travels in Russia. Food" occupies 3,000 square meters and it is divided into eight zones. We will see the achievements, the pride of each federal district and future projects," Virtuozova said.

From March 1, an updated department store will also open for guests of the Rossiya National Center. The range will be updated and expanded in the new season: 159 suppliers will represent 62 regions of Russia. There will be a Fashion section where the works of students of one of the key designers of Russian fashion, Sergey Sysoev, will be presented.

Earlier, on October 22, 2024, the Tutu travel service conducted a survey among Russians about the best regions for gastronomy. The Caucasus, Kamchatka and Tatarstan are regions where Russians would like to go to try the local cuisine. Most of all, they dream of tasting hot dishes of national cuisine, seafood, meat dishes and game.
