UK: father and son have become suspects in the case of the terrorist attack in Samara

The investigative authorities have established that two local residents, a father and a son, were involved in the terrorist attack near the government building of the Samara region. This was reported on February 27 in the Telegram channel of the SU Investigative Committee (IC) for the region.

"According to investigators, at about 5:30 a.m. today, a man approached the government building of the Samara region and threw an explosive object onto the stairs, after which he fled the scene in a car driven by another man. As a result of the incident, no one was injured," the report says.

Investigators have completed an inspection of the scene and identified the suspects. A criminal case has been opened under articles on terrorist attack and illegal trafficking of explosives. The motives of the detainees have not yet been disclosed.

Earlier in the day, the governor of the Samara region Vyacheslav Fedorishchev reported that the man href="https://iz.ru/1845968/2025-02-27/muzhchina-brosil-na-kryltco-zdaniia-pravitelstva-samarskoi-oblasti-vzryvnoe-ustroistvo " target="_blank">threw an explosive device on the porch of the government building in the region. Presumably, the attacker threw an RPG grenade, as a result of which the paving slabs were damaged.
