Russian President Vladimir Putin Putin said on February 27 at an expanded meeting of the FSB board that Russia had never refused a peaceful settlement of the conflict at Ukraine.

According to him, the actions of the Russian troops contributed to the creation of conditions for the start of an international dialogue.

"... a dialogue on a fundamental solution to both the Ukrainian and other crises, including, of course, we always talk about it, we never give up on it, by peaceful means," Putin said.

In addition, the Russian leader stressed the importance of international cooperation not only for resolving the Ukrainian conflict, but also for other global issues.
