Large-scale reconstruction of Chicherina Street in Ussuriysk will start in 2025

In Ussuriysk (Primorsky Krai), in the spring of 2025, they plan to begin a large-scale reconstruction of Chicherina Street and artificial structures on it. A search for a contractor is underway, according to the news agency UssurMedia with a link to the relevant auction documentation on the public procurement portal.

The length of the reconstructed section will be more than 1.2 km. As told to the news agency in the department of capital construction of the single customer-developer service, the work will take place along Chicherina Street from Volochaevskaya Street to Sergey Ushakov Street.

The reconstruction project provides for the expansion of the roadway from two to four lanes, the construction of a new bridge over the Rakovka River, the reconstruction of storm sewers, external engineering networks, traffic lights, bus stops and road signs, as well as landscaping of the surrounding area.

The reconstruction schedule has already been agreed with the Primorsky Ministry of Transport. The work period is from April 1, 2025 to November 1, 2027. The dismantling of the old bridge structures will begin in October this year.

The contractor is scheduled to be identified on February 28. The maximum value of the contract with him will be 1.094 billion rubles. The works will be carried out within the framework of the municipal program "Ussuriysk roads for 2023-2027".

The reconstruction of Chicherina Street and the construction of a new ferry on it are included in the long-term plan for the integrated socio-economic development of the Ussuriysk city District until 2030.
