In Moscow, Aramyan, the co-founder of the DOXA publication, was sentenced in absentia to 10 years in prison.

In In Moscow, a court sentenced in absentia the co-founder of the DOXA publication (recognized in the Russian Federation as a foreign agent and an undesirable organization) Armen Aramyan (listed as an extremist and terrorist) to 10 years in a general regime penal colony in the case of propaganda of terrorism and fakes about the Russian army. This was announced on February 27 in the press service of the Moscow prosecutor's office in the Telegram channel.

According to the investigation, in 2022, a man motivated by political hatred posted material that contained false information about the Russian army. In addition, in 2023, he published an article on the publication's website in which he called for setting fire to Russian military enlistment offices, as well as committing terrorist attacks on railway tracks.

The man was found guilty under clause "d" of Part 2 of Article 207.3 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Public dissemination under the guise of reliable reports of knowingly false information containing data on the use of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, motivated by political hatred"), part 2 of Article 205.2 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Public justification of terrorism, committed using informationtelecommunications network "Internet"). The court also decided to deprive the accused of the right to administer websites for four years.

Earlier, on February 16, a trial in absentia in Moscow arrested DOXA editor Maria Menshikova, who is accused of publicly justifying the ideology of terrorism. It was reported that she was prosecuted under Part 2 of Article 205.2 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Public calls to carry out terrorist activities, public justification or propaganda of terrorism").
