Footage of an avalanche on a road in Dagestan has been published

The footage shows how the roadway was covered with snow. The cars stopped moving, and one of the vehicles got stuck in the snow. Special equipment has already started clearing the road section.

According to Dagestanavtodor, the avalanche occurred on the 95-110 km section of the Grozny — Botlikh — Khunzakh — Arakan Site highway of national significance.

On February 24, an incident occurred on the southern slope of Aibga outside the equipped trails of the Rosa Khutor resort in Sochi avalanche. The press service of the resort clarified that there were three riders in the danger zone. Rescuers found two snowboarders. They were taken to the doctors of Rosa Khutor, no serious injuries were recorded.

The fate of the third is unknown. According to the Southern Regional search and Rescue squad of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations, the search for the missing skier temporarily suspended.
