MAER media holding became the owner of the Russian information holding company 1MI

MAER Media Holding has acquired a 100% stake in PremierMediaInvest LLC, which owns a network of federal and regional socio-political media outlets throughout Russia, united under the 1MI Holding brand. The operational management of the 1MI holding will be handled by representatives of the IAP.

"The acquisition of 1MI media assets will allow both holdings to increase their audience, which will create the basis for further growth of all assets. The deal will also give an impetus to the development of regional publications. Both street advertising and media companies have great potential for integration into a single digital ecosystem. In addition, the MAER is reaching a qualitatively different level of work of the new media, which has been created in recent years. We want to use the synergy of the two holdings, which certainly enrich each other, to create a unique platform in Russia," said Konstantin Mayor, owner and CEO of the MAER media holding.MAER reported that the first meetings of the media holding's management with the editors-in-chief of the media outlets included in the 1MI perimeter have already taken place. At the same time, Konstantin Mayor stressed during a meeting with the creative team that the media holding would not influence the editorial policy of the publications included in 1MI. "The work of the editorial offices will continue as usual," he added.

According to him, in the near future, the MAER will introduce new products for the media market that will reach an audience of 50 million people per month. "Creating a full-fledged media ecosystem gives us the opportunity to build the most effective communication with any audience: on the streets of cities, in online media, and in digital channels. This synergy provides fundamentally new opportunities for the development of our clients," Konstantin Mayor emphasized.

1MI is a multidisciplinary communications holding company established in 2016 as a result of the merger of several regional online publications and today has one of Russia's largest networks of socio–political regional media and publications in social networks. 1MI includes the publications Novye Izvestia, Neft and Kapital, as well as more than 20 online media outlets and 179 public and social media channels. The holding is one of the top 5 publications in terms of citations in each region of its presence. There are 28 of them in total: from Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk to Vladikavkaz. The monthly audience of the holding's resources currently stands at 19 million unique visitors.

The MAER media holding owns the largest high-tech digital network of advertising surfaces, which currently provides over 8.2 billion visual contacts per month. The monthly audience in Russia exceeds 31 million people. In the near future, the media holding intends to launch a single digital communications platform based on 24 patents and 37 technological solutions.
