According to him, UAZ models have "closed" type bridges with additional sealing, reinforced crosspieces and cardan shafts, and additional leaf springs. The general director of the automobile plant emphasized that these changes and improvements have been implemented on all cars that come off the assembly line of the enterprise, including on cars going on retail sale.

On January 23, Ulyanovsk Automobile Plant announced that it had concluded agreements about cooperation with Zaporizhia and Kherson regions. It is aimed at expanding the service network and ensuring timely supply of spare parts, especially for commercial and office vehicles.

On December 11 last year, it was reported that the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) had opened the first official UAZ dealership, where residents of the region will be able to service and repair their cars. The head of the DPR Denis Pushilin said that the Ulyanovsk Automobile Plant will establish direct deliveries of cars to the region, will carry out their warranty and maintenance.
