The Investigative Committee opened a case of a terrorist attack after an explosion at the government building of the Samara region

An unknown man in Samara approached the regional government building in the early morning, threw an explosive object onto the stairs of the building and disappeared. This was reported on February 27 by the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the region.

A criminal case has been opened under paragraph "a" of Part 2 of Article 205 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Terrorist act committed by a group of persons by prior agreement"), as well as paragraph "a" of Part 3 of Article 222.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Illegal acquisition, transfer, storage of explosives or explosive devices committed by a group of persons by prior agreement").
