- The political scientist questioned the possibility of placing a portrait of Trump on Mount Rushmore

On Mount Rushmore in South Dakota, where a bas-relief with portraits of four former presidents is carved USA, there is not enough space for the image of the American leader Donald Trump. Political scientist Alexey Yaroshenko shared this opinion with Izvestia on February 27.
"Both a civil war can start by the forces of those who disagree with the fact that Trump is president ... [and] a cult of personality at the suggestion of his supporters," the political scientist explained.
In addition, according to Yaroshenko, Mount Rushmore is "too small" — and the portrait of Trump simply will not fit there.
In January, a bill was put to a congressional vote in the United States that would allow add a portrait of Trump on Mount Rushmore. The memorial on this mountain is an 18.6 m high bas-relief with portraits of American presidents George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Theodore Roosevelt and Abraham Lincoln.
