Special military operation to protect civilians Donbas has been held by Russia since February 24, 2022. The units of the Center group of forces have improved their position along the front line. In this area, the Armed Forces Ukraine lost up to 310 military personnel, a Leopard tank, and seven armored fighting vehicles, including an HMMWV. A pickup truck and three artillery pieces were also destroyed.

The Russian Army used operational and tactical aircraft, unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), missile forces and artillery to defeat the infrastructure of military airfields, training sites for drone operators, as well as concentrations of manpower and equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in 142 districts.

During the day, air defense systems shot down seven JDAM guided aerial bombs and 104 aircraft-type drones.

Since the beginning of the special military operation, 656 aircraft, 283 helicopters, 44,720 UAVs, 597 anti-aircraft missile systems, 21,756 tanks and other armored combat vehicles, 1,522 multiple rocket launchers, 22,060 field artillery and mortars, and 32,139 units of special military vehicles have been destroyed.
