A scooter rider who was riding around a store in Kaluga beat a pensioner after a remark

In one of Kaluga's shops, a 19-year-old young man attacked an elderly man after making a remark to him. This was announced on February 27 by the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the region in its Telegram channel.

According to preliminary data, the young man rode around the sales area on a scooter with a friend, disturbing customers. One of the visitors made a remark to them, after which there was a conflict between them. During the altercation, the pensioner grabbed the offender by the jacket, to which the second young man responded with aggression — he hit the man, and then continued beating when he fell.

Eyewitnesses called the police, and the attacker was arrested. A criminal case has been opened against him under the article "Beatings" (Article 116 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation), and a forensic medical examination has been ordered. The suspect is on his own recognizance.
