In the first case, compared to December last year, output fell by 71%, and in the second — by 40.7%.

The production of internal combustion engines for motor vehicles has also decreased. In January, it amounted to 13.5 thousand units (-7.2% YoY and -26.2% YoY).

The day before, it was reported that by the end of January 2025, the number of car loans issued for new and used cars amounted to 59.6 thousand units, which is 42.7% less than in the previous month. As the analysts explained, the factors contributing to the decline in car loans included an increase in recycling fees and market rates.
