Two children fell out of windows in St. Petersburg in one day

The first tragic incident occurred on Krasnoselskoye Highway in a family from Tajikistan who rents a two-room apartment on the fourth floor. A one-year-old boy climbed onto the window sill of a window open for ventilation, leaned on a mosquito net and fell out. At that time, the child's mother was cooking pilaf. The woman did not have time to grab the baby when he and the net fell down.

The victim was hospitalized. There were no visible injuries on his body, but doctors revealed many internal fractures and injuries. The patient's condition is assessed as severe.

The second case occurred in Peterhof. A four-year-old boy also fell out of a fourth-floor window. He was taken to the hospital in a moderate condition. Doctors diagnosed him with a concussion and a closed craniocerebral injury. The child is being raised by a family of visitors from Uzbekistan.
