The number of buildings with artistic lighting has increased fourfold in Moscow

The number of buildings with architectural and artistic lighting in Moscow has more than quadrupled and reached 2.3 thousand. The lighting design of each building is created individually to emphasize its structural and decorative elements, saidin his official Telegram channel, the mayor of the capital, Sergei Sobyanin.

There are also special projects — for example, the 23 bridges over the Moskva River and the Yauza are decorated in the "gems" concept, and the streets of the Garden Ring are distinguished by golden shades.

In 2024, 83 objects received illumination. Among them is the Puppet Theater named after. Obraztsova, the Krzhizhanovsky apartment museum, the Picturesque Bridge, the universal sports hall Druzhba in Luzhniki and others.

In addition, 478,000 outdoor lighting devices have been installed in the capital since 2011. The streets are being equipped with modern energy-efficient lighting fixtures, and smart control systems are being introduced in the city, thanks to which dispatchers can remotely adjust the brightness, check the voltage and monitor whether the lamp is lit or not.

In 2025, it is planned to install over 32,000 outdoor lighting devices in courtyards, playgrounds and sports grounds, and equip 117 objects with architectural and artistic lighting.
