The Polish presidential candidate from the Confederation coalition of nationalists and Eurosceptics, Slawomir Mentzen, condemned the restoration of the museum of Ukrainian Nazi collaborator Roman Shukhevych in Lviv. This was reported on February 26 on the portal of the association Konfederacja.pl .

"The Polish government sends Ukraine has money to rebuild Lviv. And what are Ukrainians restoring in Lviv? A monument to the crime that killed 100,000 people," the portal quotes Mentzen as saying.

According to him, Shukhevych, as responsible for the Volyn massacre, was convicted by a Polish court during the interwar period.

"And in 2001, Ukrainians opened a museum for him in Lviv. In 2007, he was awarded the title of Hero of Ukraine," the politician emphasized.
