The Palestinian Hamas movement has declared its readiness to start negotiations on the second stage of the agreement with Israel. This was announced on February 27 by the press service of the movement.

"We reaffirm our full commitment to the ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip, with all its terms and conditions, and confirm our readiness to enter into negotiations related to the second phase of the agreement," the Telegram channel said.

The press service added that any attempts by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his government to withdraw from the agreement and prevent its implementation would only lead to even greater suffering for Palestinian prisoners and Israeli hostages.

February 27, Netanyahu's office confirmed receipt of the bodies of four hostages from Gaza. The families of the hostages were informed about the transfer of the bodies to the Red Cross. After the process is fully completed, they will receive an official notification. A spokesman for the organization's military wing, Abu Ubaida, noted on February 26 that the transfer took place in as part of the prisoner exchange deal.
