Over the past day, the area of wildfires in Primorsky Krai has exceeded 1.3 thousand hectares. About this on February 27 the regional government reported with reference to the Ministry of Civil Defense and Emergency Protection in Primorsky Krai.

"During the day, on February 26, 17 fires with a total area of 1,398 hectares were registered in the Primorsky Territory," the press service said.

It is specified that seven fires were recorded in Khorolsky, Shkotovsky, Khasansky and Ussuriysky districts. Two fires also occurred in the Nadezhdinsky and Pogranichny districts. In addition, one fire was recorded on the territory of LOM Yasnoye.

At the moment, all fires have been eliminated. In total, 160 people and 28 units of special equipment were involved in extinguishing the fire.
