Motorized infantry destroyed the firing points of the Armed Forces of Ukraine during the liberation of Novoandreevka in the DPR

The motorized rifle regiment of the tank division of the Center group of forces destroyed the main firing points of the Armed Forces during the liberation of the settlement of Novoandreevka of the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) Ukraine (APU) in the forest belts adjacent to the settlement. This was announced on February 27 by the Russian Defense Ministry.

The servicemen carried out the combat mission with the support of cannon artillery fire, operators of attack unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and drones with a drop system.

After the defeat of the enemy firing points, objective control footage also recorded the escape of the enemy from Novoandreevka. Then the motorized rifle regiment entered the village without much resistance and planted the Russian flag on one of the central houses.

The Center group of troops continues to fulfill its combat tasks to liberate the DPR from the AFU units, the ministry added.

The ministry noted that during the assault, the military groups of troops "Center" defeated 11 brigades and a regiment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The enemy lost up to 365 fighters, armored and automotive vehicles, as well as weapons.
