In order to be included in the state register of accommodation facilities, guest houses will need to install special signs on the facade, have no more than 15 rooms, and refuse to accommodate more than 30 people at a time. This is stated in the draft regulations on the classification of guest houses, which were prepared by the Ministry of Economic Development. Izvestia got acquainted with it.

According to Sangaji Tarbayev, head of the State Duma Committee on Tourism, the department's document, which includes a draft government decree and regulations on classification, has been prepared for the implementation of the draft law on guest houses, which should launch an experimental regime in several regions.

The document is currently being prepared for the second reading and, according to it, guest houses will not be able to work, advertise their services and post information about themselves on aggregator websites without going through the classification procedure.

The annex to the regulation contains other requirements, in particular, the owner must provide round-the-clock cold and hot water supply. If there is no hot water, then water heating is necessary. In addition, if the house is located in an area with intermittent water supply, then you need to have a supply of liquid for at least a day.

Guests will also have to be provided with drinking water — at least half a liter per day per person. Heating systems should keep the temperature at less than 21.5 degrees, and smoke detectors should be installed in the eating areas.
