The unicameral Lebanese parliament has expressed a vote of confidence in the country's new government, headed by Prime Minister Nawaf Salam. The President of the International Court of Justice of the United Nations (UN), Nawaf Salam, was href="https://iz.ru/1821498/2025-01-13/predsedatela-mezdunarodnogo-suda-oon-salama-naznacili-premer-ministrom-livana"> appointed Prime Minister Lebanon on January 13th. He received the support of 84 out of 128 deputies, 35 votes were not used. President Joseph Aoun instructed him to form a new government.
