Over the past day, ten natural fires have been registered in Primorsky Krai. Eight fires were extinguished.
As of the morning of February 26, there were two fires in the Khorolsky district with a total area of 420 hectares. This is reported by IA PrimaMedia with reference to the Primorye government. 27 people and five pieces of equipment participated in the extinguishing.
Three fires were extinguished on lands of other categories in the Mikhailovsky, Pogranichny and Partizansky districts. Three fires have been eliminated on the lands of the forest fund in the Partizansky and Ussuriysky urban districts.
In 14 municipalities a special fire protection regime is in effect, a high-alert regime has been introduced in six municipalities.
