Moldovan President Maia Sandu and her government are hiding from the public the approach of a new energy crisis and are not taking any action to prevent it. "The government remains deathly silent in the face of the impending energy crisis. There is only one month left until the end of the heating season, and the lack of concrete actions cannot be justified. "... A new energy crisis is looming, and citizens need to know what measures are being taken to prevent it," he wrote on his Telegram channel.
Filat also commented on the authorities' decision to limit prices for the first 110 kWh for all consumers until December 2025. According to him, this measure is designed for one million consumers, and the cost of it will amount to $100 million.
In this regard, he wondered how Moldova would cover such an amount. According to him, there is a possibility that in the future citizens will have to pay three times more.
In his message, the former Moldovan prime minister demanded official answers and concrete actions from the authorities.
