The United States refrained from co-authoring the anti-Russian resolution at the WTO

The United States refrained from co-authoring the anti-Russian resolution at the World Trade Organization (WTO). This was announced on February 26 by Russia's permanent representative to the WTO Nikolai Platonov.
"I can confirm. It should be noted that the statement was made during the second WTO Trade Policy Review Ukraine," he said in an interview with RIA Novosti..
In addition, the agency Reuters, citing sources, also confirmed this information.
According to the publication, the statement was approved by more than 40 WTO members, including the European Union (EU), the United Kingdom, as well as Canada and Australia. At the same time, for the first time since the beginning of the special military operation, the United States did not support this initiative.
Earlier, on February 10, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov stated that Russia will review its obligations to international organizations that practice discriminatory approaches. He clarified that we are talking about the International Monetary Fund (IMF), the World Bank (WB) and the WTO.
