The document contains a "special dossier" dedicated to the history of the BRICS and the analysis of the activities of this association, including the fields of economics and security.

"Considering how the BRICS countries use their growing importance and assume their responsibilities, they can really contribute to the stabilization of the world order," the report says.

Bern "does not consider it appropriate" to belittle the role of the BRICS, since this group "has sufficient political and economic influence to inspire confidence in the thesis that previously dominant Western states are losing their importance in favor of new developing countries."

The report also noted in this regard the continued influence of the West in global trade and international relations, as well as among the population, with "some policy decisions currently being made in Western countries having the potential to accelerate this phenomenon."
