The Ministry of Internal Affairs told about a new phishing site, through which, on behalf of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO), false lawyers promise to return money to the victims of fraudsters. This was announced on February 26 by the press service of the Department for the organization of combating the illegal use of information and communication technologies of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation.

"A phishing resource has been identified promising to return funds to the victims of fraudsters on behalf of the Collective Security Treaty Organization!" the Telegram channel says.

According to the department, cybercriminals distribute links to a fake website in chat rooms or forums. At the same time, they promise false compensation for money.

The message also urged citizens to be vigilant and contact specialized authorities in case of investment fraud.

Earlier that day, specialists from the anti-fraud center of the Informzashita holding reported that the attackers had begun to introduce themselves by employees of intercom companies. Under the guise of company employees, the scammers inform the victim that the equipment in the entrance has been replaced. To access the new intercom, they allegedly need a code from SMS messages from Gosuslug, which the attackers need to log into their account or reset their account password.
