The court sent film critic Ekaterina Barabash under house arrest

Dorogomilovsky district Court of the city Moscow has ordered the house arrest of film critic Ekaterina Barabash for spreading fakes about the Russian Armed Forces. This was reported on February 26 in the Telegram channel of the courts of general jurisdiction of the capital.

"Film critic Ekaterina Barabash was given a preventive measure in the court of the capital for the public dissemination of deliberately false information about the use of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation on her personal page on the telecommunications network"The Internet," the statement said.

Barabash is charged with Part 2 of Article 207.3 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, the court chose a preventive measure against her in the form of house arrest for a period of two months.

On the same day, Barabash was charged with publicly spreading fakes about the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation. According to the investigation, the film critic posted false information publicly on her personal page on one of the social networks. During the interrogation, the defendant admitted her guilt in full.
