The F. Gaskarov Ensemble will celebrate its 85th anniversary on the Kremlin stage

The band will perform the program "Dances of the peoples of the world". The audience will be able to enjoy the color and beauty of folk dances from different countries - Spanish, Kazakh, Khorezm, Argentine, Chinese dances and other bright choreographic compositions. Classics of Bashkir choreography will also be presented – "Gulnazira", "Seven Girls", "Northern Cupids", "Pranksters" and other dances from the golden fund of the heritage of Faizi Gaskarov. Choreographic compositions dedicated to the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War will be a special decoration of the evening.

Bashkir State Dance Ensemble is one of the leading professional dance groups in Russia. Created by Faizi Adgamovich Gaskarov, a student of the great choreography master Igor Moiseev, the ensemble is a hallmark of Bashkortostan's choreographic creativity. F. Gaskarov, a subtle and profound artist, unmistakably discerned the national essence of Bashkir dance, made it close and understandable to people of different nationalities. Relying on folk art, he created a unique artistic method of processing folklore from the perspective of professional art. His first productions are diverse in genres and forms, named after Bashkir girls "Zagida", "Zarifa", "Gulnazira"; dance legend "Seven Girls", compositions: "Three brothers", "Groom", "Pranksters", "Northern Cupids" and many others. The first high-profile successes of the ensemble are associated with these productions. Victories at All-Union and international competitions and festivals, gold and silver medals, worldwide recognition.

The years of performances allowed the team to form its own Gaskar style, a special plasticity of movements. This is a real dance theater that preserves the creative heritage and unique style of Gaskarov, achievements and experience accumulated throughout its history. For 85 years, the Faizi Gaskarov Ensemble has carefully preserved the traditions of the Bashkir people, presenting the audience with a wide range of dances from many peoples of the world and Russia.

As part of the concert, a large-scale exhibition will be organized in the coat of arms lobby of the Kremlin Palace, which will introduce the concert audience to Bashkir culture. A special place in the exhibition will be occupied by unique antique jewelry for dances from the ensemble's repertoire – belts for the dances "Hunter" and "Copper Heel", eleven unique female breast ornaments for the Bashkir ancient bucket dance, staged over 60 years ago, and a Kashmau headdress for the lyrical dance "Zagida". The items of Bashkir traditional costume presented in the exhibition are decorated with antique coins, corals, embroidery and stones. Each of the ornaments is unique and does not repeat the other in its pattern and design.

To the melodies of the kurai– a Bashkir musical instrument, everyone can feel the warmth and comfort of a Bashkir yurt. There will be a photo zone in the lobby where you can try on national clothes and take memorable photos.
