Latvian biathlon coach resigned after conflict with Rastorguev

The coach of the Latvian national biathlon team, Ilmars Britsis, resigned after being accused of beating the silver medalist of the 2024 World Championships, Andrei Rastorguev. This was reported on February 26 by Latvijas Avize.
Earlier, on February 25, Rastorguev stated that the incident occurred at the 2024 World Cup, held in Switzerland. The athlete went to Bricis and accused him of stealing skis, after which the coach beat him up.
