A rally against the agreement on minerals was held at the US Embassy in Kiev.
In Kiev, near the embassy building USA a crowd of people gathered opposing the agreement Ukraine and the United States on minerals. This was reported on February 26 by the Ukrainian agency UNIAN in the Telegram channel.
It is noted that the protesting Ukrainians demand to postpone the signing of such agreements until the end of the conflict with Russia, as well as to add security guarantees for the country to them.
The day before, the Financial Times newspaper reported that Ukraine agreed to a deal with the United States to jointly develop mineral resources, including oil and gas, after the United States waived claims for the right to $500 billion in potential mining revenue. According to the newspaper, representatives of Ukraine were able to negotiate more favorable terms with the United States.
