Young people (18-24) are mostly interested in gaming purchases — 58% of respondents of this age have paid at least once, according to RuStore data, which was reviewed by Izvestia on February 27.
They can potentially spend 2,294 rubles per month on mobile games, which is almost twice as much as in the 25-34 age group.
The generation 35-44 is the least willing to spend; their potential expenses amount to 1104 rubles per month. At the same time, women can spend almost as much as men: men are willing to allocate 1,512 rubles for mobile games per month, and women 1,265 rubles.
According to the app store, 9 out of 10 payments are made for one-time purchases in games and apps (for example, the purchase of additional items in games). This is followed by subscriptions (6%) and paid app purchases (3%). This corresponds to the indicators on the global market, experts said.
