Moscow has approved priorities for the development of the education system. The capital will increase per capita funding standards for secondary schools while equalizing the standard for grades 5-11, saidin his official Telegram channel, the head of the city, Sergei Sobyanin.

In addition, Moscow will strengthen the system of mathematical and natural science training for schoolchildren, and the design of five advanced "schools of the future" will begin in Presnensky, Meshchansky, Basmanny and Tagansky districts.

In addition, there will be more budget college places in the capital for Moscow graduates of grades 9.

Moscow is one of the five world leaders in the quality of school education, Sobyanin stressed. The decisions made will allow us to maintain and improve these positions, as well as ensure the competitiveness of graduates in the labor market.
