At least 19 people were killed in a plane crash in Sudan

At least 19 people were killed in the crash of a military aircraft belonging to the Sudanese army in Omdurman. This was reported on February 26 in Al Arabiya with reference to the Sudanese Ministry of Health.

The cause of the aircraft crash is called a technical malfunction. The plane crashed into a residential building immediately after takeoff from a local airbase. Residents of northern Omdurman reported hearing a strong explosion, after which the electricity went out in some nearby areas.
