Artillery crews of the Msta-S self-propelled howitzers of the 25th combined arms army of the Zapad group of forces in the area of the special military operation destroyed armored vehicles, calculations of SPG-9 anti-tank grenade launchers and 120-millimeter mortars, as well as the manpower of the Armed Forces Ukraine (APU). This was announced on February 26 by the Russian Defense Ministry.

At the same time, objective monitoring footage obtained from an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) in real time made it possible to verify the destruction of the identified targets.

It is noted that the Msta-S calculations have been performing combat missions since the very beginning of their military operations. The gunners have been awarded military state and departmental awards more than once.
