The approval rating of French President Emmanuel Macron by the citizens of the country dropped to 25%. This was reported on February 25 by Le Dauphine with reference to the Odoxa Mascaret survey.

"Three quarters of French people (75%) believe that Emmanuel Macron is a bad president," it says in the material.

The popularity of the head of state decreased by 1% in a month. It is noted that it is approaching its record high of 23% in November last year.

In turn, the approval rating of French Prime Minister Francois Bayrou dropped by 4% over the month and reached 26%. According to Odoxa Mascaret, no other prime minister of the country has ever demonstrated such a low indicator two months after his appointment.

At the same time, the study showed that 36% of French people approve of the work of Edouard Philippe, who served as prime minister from 2017 to 2020.

The survey was conducted on February 19-20, and 1,005 adult respondents took part in it.

Jordan Bardella, head of the National Union Party, January 27 called the dissolution of the French parliament inevitable. According to him, "no one in the country is satisfied" with the consensus reached by Bayrou between Socialists and Republicans.

The newspaper Le Figaro, citing a poll on January 3, reported that 61% of the French are in favor of href="https://iz.ru/1817830/2025-01-03/vo-francii-soobsili-o-zelanii-60-naselenia-otpravit-makrona-v-otstavku " target="_blank">for the resignation of the president.
