In Kansk, an underage student gave birth at one of the city's colleges, and then threw the baby in the trash. This was reported on February 25 in the press service of the GSU of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Krasnoyarsk Territory and the Republic of Khakassia.

According to the preliminary version of the investigation, on February 23, a college student gave birth on her own at 37 weeks of pregnancy, and then placed the child's body in a bag and threw it in the trash.

In addition, according to a source of Izvestia, the girl did not know that she was pregnant. According to him, the 17-year-old student had several partners, she does not know which of them is the father of her daughter.

A criminal case was opened into the incident on the grounds of a crime under Article 106 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Murder of a newborn child by a mother"). A forensic medical examination is currently underway to determine whether the child was alive at the time of birth.

On February 12, police officers opened a criminal case in Krasnoyarsk upon the discovery of the bodies of a newborn baby in a trash can. It was clarified that the girl, who was allegedly 22 weeks pregnant, gave birth to a child on her own in the apartment, and then got rid of the body by throwing it into the trash can. A criminal case has been opened against her.
